Outline of RFID Interest by State

This outline groups technical interest by the state where the assignment was made.  Only RFID related technologies or applications assigned in the U.S. in 2003 are shown.  A full list of assignments which includes foreign countries is shown in a companion Data Base Appendix document.

The outline shows state names as headings followed by technologies and applications assigned in those states.  The number after the state name in the headings shows the number of patent assignments made in that state.  The number of technologies and applications shown for each state do not always match the number of patent assignments because multiple patents can protect similar technologies and some patents claim multiple technologies.

The states are listed in alphabetical order. Only states with assignments are shown.

(In this sample report, the order has been changed and some left out.)
