(RFID 2004 - - - *Sample* *Sample* *Sample*)
Table of RFID Related Patent ClassificationsThe following list shows US Patent Office classes and subclasses which were related to patent searches done for issued 2003 RFID patents. These classes and subclasses are included here because the patent office referenced these classes as related art during processing of the year 2003 patents analyzed for this report. The sections are listed here to show the wide range of categories that RFID related technology has penetrated. Subclasses judged to have titles relevant to RFID are shown with titles. Subclasses judged to have titles which are not relevant are shown only as numeric entries. For example 29/25.42 which is section 29, subsection 25.42. Main class headings are shown in bold when there are RFID relevant subclasses. Italicized headings are paraphrased patent office class / subclass headings, and not the full headings. Numbers in ( ) after a heading show the number of patents in that class when this report was prepared. Titled subsections that do not show a number of patents are intermediate subclass headings that have no assigned patents. The patent classification system is a hierarchical or branching system where lower subclasses are uniquely associated with higher classes or subclasses. This relationship is shown in the table by indenting of subclass headings.
